The Story Of Us. The Story Of An Endless Pursuit.
Ours was a classic tale of boy meets girl. Girl friend-zones boy. Boy persists and takes girl out on date. Girl breaks up with boy. Boy persists again. Girl breaks up with boy again. Boy sets firm boundaries. Girl misses boy. Boy invites girl to New Year’s party. Girl wants to date boy again. Boy makes it clear it’s marriage or bust this time. Girl agrees.
We named our business after our dating relationship. It was a bit chaotic, and our friends jokingly referred to it as “the endless pursuit.” We have learned a thing or two now that we’re over thirteen years into this marriage thing, with three kids, a few moves, a bunch of road trips, a couple career switches, a pandemic, and building a business together. We’ve learned that the pursuit is never really over; in fact it’s really the main reason we’re here. The pursuit, the journey, or whatever you want to call the story of two people is one of the greatest things in the entire world. The story element between people is what has drawn us so deeply into this extraordinary world of weddings and why we love what we do. It reminds us why we started this journey together and why it’s all so very worth it.
